Remember the braided roving I had to spin up from Zarzuela's Fibers? May I have some color please... Look at this:
Once you open up the roving and spread the fiber out there is a lot more than you think. This is Wensleydale. I've never spun it before. The staples are very long and it is very soft! It was better than dinner and a movie! Here is some on the spool:
Done, but not wet-blocked yet:
and, one more because I have to....
I Love it! I'm hoping that it is close to sport weight. I'll check the yardage and wraps per inch later today. What should I make with it?
And... because my world is not only purple and orange, we went fishing last night. Didn't catch anything, though, because it was too beautiful to pay attention to the fishing lines! Look at this lake:
Clear as glass. No humidity either. Our friends let us fish on their property. Beautiful, huh? And this..... this my friends, is a LOT of corn:
Happy Monday!

That is a beautiful pond. I would be tempted to call it a lake! I like the bright colors in your yarn. I have noticed that my socks are mostly non-descript.
So I ordered yarn from TLE. One is orange and red, the other is pale green with turquoise. Can't have blah colors. Right?
And the book is great. I have trouble picking up the needles because I want to read the book! Can't wait for her sock book.

Your yarn looks awesome!! I'm so glad you enjoyed working with it. I wish I could give you project ideas, but I really don't know what to tell you. Let it sit a while. It will tell you what it wants to be sooner or later. :)

Wow--I would definitely call that a big leap of faith. The yarn looks great, but I had my doubts on that first picture.....
This is probably why I don't spin. No ability to visualize these things. Not to mention taking up another hobby might lead to divorce.....:)
