It would seem lately that I have forgotten my role in the home. Apparently I am to be cleaning the house, taking care of laundry and doing the dishes as well. Instead of a certain someone waiting for me to want to do these things out of the goodness of my own heart, I am to be forced into compliance at my earliest inconvenience... I must admit that it is true that if I am not forced to clean, it may never happen in my lifetime, but, C'mon Dude! I am busy with SOS 08 and the Ravelympics for Pete's Sake! Don't you care that I have 3,000 pounds of fiber to spin and 1,632 pairs of socks to complete before August 24th and September 1st? Don't you love me at all? Look at these Happy Socks I am making for myself so that I can be "happy" for you:
I still need to finish one more and finish one more Nutkin as well. Doesn't that mean anything to you? I haven't even started on the Purple Mohair yet!
Fine, I'll wash the dishes and collect the garbage, but YOU are going to have to dust and deal with the floors from hell AND you can forget clean underwear next week! Bring on the "Santa Claus" novelty underwear. Besides, I have plenty of clean underwear for myself (of course)...

LOL. Although it's usually me doing the yelling about the other half's neglect of his household chores. And he isn't doing olympic knitting *or* spinning!!

Well, luckily, I have a retired stay at home husband who does the cooking, shopping, and laundry. All I have to take care of is the floors (he has dust allergies). We have wood floors with a few rugs so it isn't too hard: dust mop the floors and vacuum or shake the rugs. But sometimes he does get a little testy...you'd think the floors had to be done every month! :-) (Just kidding)
I love the yarn you are making your new sock from. Bright colors are for me! Is Happy Feet the brand or the color?
