I'm still on a hat jag, although I'm knitting this one:
It is the Running Horse Hat, so, eventually, there will be horses here! Becky loves horses, so she's getting horses. I'm not doing the "hem" that the pattern calls for, but a ribbed edge instead. Did you notice that I'm using the "stripes go round" yarn again? Every time I start a new project my first thought is, "Can I use the stripes go round yarn??" Silly, really. I have 6,352 other skeins of yarn, but I still feel the need to BEAT the stripes go round yarn. It (I'm not sure who "it" is) wouldn't let me use it for the project that I bought it for, so I'm going to show "it" who is boss....? Yeah. Silly. I'm almost done with all the little balls that I unraveled and I'm to the full skeins now. I also used it on the Fair Isle Sweater that I finished not too long ago, remember?
Onward.... The second prototype of the Two Color Swirls is finished:
The pattern is coming along nicely. I'm almost ready to write it up. Even Sophie is impressed... I think??
I even started a toe-up prototype, but this time I'm not swirling on the foot, I'm zig-zagging....
I know what you're thinking . . . SHAZAM! HA!

I love the horse hat! Beautiful color. You just show "it", girl!

I may have to make one of the horse hats for a friend of my eldest daughter.
The socks are lovely and I love the brightness of the zig zag socks

I love how these green ones are working. I can't wait to see the pattern and use it myself!
