The Bolts were a success I think. I finally finished writing up the pattern over the weekend, and posted the pattern yesterday here in the side-bar of my blog and on Ravelry. I hope everyone who downloads the pattern ends up liking their socks! Also, if you have any questions at all, please email me! I don't mind. Who knows.... This may be the only pattern I ever come up with! "Ms. Create and her One Pattern Wonder...."
Here's some pictures of the finished Bolts:
I have the sock in the back inside out so you can see the floats. OH - and good thing I am a former quilter (boy would I like to get back to that at some point.. but I digress) because I have 6,352 yards of fabric, even this bright yellow!! Goes good as a backdrop, don't you think?
Here's one with the purple version:
Onward.....
Paul came home on Saturday and thrust a cardboard box at me. "Watch this for a minute," he said. Guess what was in the box???
OMG - could these baby ducks be any cuter??? Don't you just want to dress them up in something and keep them inside as a pet?? Unfortunately, that is not what is happening. The ducks are not inside, but in the chicken coop right now with the baby chicks and turkeys.
That's not to say they won't end up back in the house at some point.... with little clothes and hats and . . . . Plus.. I need one of those little plastic swimming pools. OH! This is going to be fun. Paul is probably going to wish he never brought these home!! I love them so.....
Also, for those of you who know that turkeys and chickens shouldn't be raised together, not to worry. The turkeys are going next door to the "turkey" coop as soon as they get a little bigger.
I have lots more to catch up on, but no more time today. I'll leave you with Paul and his garden.....
He has plans....... Hopefully we'll end up with something we can eat. ;)

Those ducks are just way too cute. I want one.

I love baby ducks. We don't have any water, so we can't have any. We used to have chickens and I loved baby chicks too. Maybe next year. The socks look great! I think I even have yarn already for them!

Squee! Look at the fluffy baby duckies!
Of course, I'd much rather admire them online than deal with them in person...
Hey, isn't it about time for you to get more fish for the pond? ;-)
Will the ducks get to play in the pond?
