I'm working on projects, but nothing really fun lately. I did start a new pair of socks with a fair isle design I made up, then frogged them back to the cuff because I just wanted to knit stockinette. I guess I'm back to stripes again for now. The creative process has gone back into hibernation! ;) I have two more pairs of socks to make before I can go back to my new skeins and stop using leftover sock yarn. I think I made a pretty good dent in it!
Besides socks, I'm working on the Collared U-Neck Tee from Knit Simple, Spring/Summer 2008. It's slow going because of the sport yarn, but I do like the Shine Sport from KnitPicks very much. This is the coral colorway:
Can you spot the beautiful spinning wheel stitch marker that I bought from Opal's shop?
I love finishing a row and getting to handle this. It's things like this in knitting that I really appreciate. Thank you Opal for making such beautiful stitch markers (and jewelry!!!). I'm going to be using the sheep and ladybug ones soon!
I'm still spinning Butter's Fleece:
and getting ready to send his fleece in from this year to be processed:
Crinkle fries! Seriously, though, this ram has a fetish for rolling around in hay. I've been picking it out for days!!! If the woman at the mill can get all of the rest of the hay out that I couldn't get, I promise to kiss her full on the mouth! (OH! Did I just type that? Don't tell Paul....) :)
Okay - back to socks....(I can't help it). I'm actually hoping that June 1st comes along pretty quickly, because then the KAL starts for WendyKnits' new book, Socks from the Toe Up!!! Come and check out our new KAL Group on Ravelry, and join us. Lots of prizes and stuff!!
I'll leave you for the weekend with this:
Spring is still here, but not for much longer I think. I love the smell of lilac in the spring..... don't you?

Butter's fleece is gorgeous!! Whatcha gonna do with that there yarn, missy?
I'm glad you are using the Shine - I really like how it knits up, and the orange is really nice!! Mini-Me says "Orange is the best color evah!"

I couldn't access your links on the sweater, as I was banned from Ravelry. But I like the coral yarn. And Butter's fleece is beautiful. It makes me want to put my face in it! (Good luck on that kiss!)

I love the orange yarn, the tee is going to look beautiful in that!
And all that fiber... another thing I just don't want to get into (such a long list:weaving, spinning, dyeing... who has the time, [insert sight of dispair here]

Butter's fleece looks so soft and lovely, but I know I would itch if I got near it. :-(
And I'm green with envy your lilac is blooming, mine hasn't yet! But I spotted some blooms on my wisteria this morning. Only the second time in the five years in the house. It's very exciting.
