Is this gorgeous, or what? I am totally smitten.
I could take pictures of this Mohair all day. I still have enough left to do another skein almost this big too. Plus, I'm looking for a pair of Angora goats, because I NEED to have more of this. Paul doesn't know about it yet....
I'm not sure I can duplicate this dye job, though. Looking close at the fiber, there is purple, pink and blue in there. Also, I think the fiber was washed with some kind of fruity shampoo because it even SMELLS gorgeous! Seriously!
Okay, enough already... on to other stuff. Here are the Nutkins, finished:
They are a tight fit, the leg is twisty, but they do look nice. The learning experience was worth it, though. I learned to do a hemmed cuff and a short row toe with three needle bind off. Plus, this was only my second short row heel. Pretty colors in this Yummy yarn.
Here's my Spring Forwards, started. Loving the colors and the pattern on this one. Do you think I can have a pair finished by Monday, the last day of SOS 08?
Yeah, I don't think so either....
We have something here called "Swapper's Day" on Labor Day weekend. Huge flea market and garage sales galore. I'm pretty sure I'll be shopping all weekend. Can you say "Coach" knock-off?
Alright, now I'm drooling.... Congratulations on the Nutkins! I have loved watching them come together, and think I might have to try them myself!
Yeah, that purple is dangerous. Seriously, I think it should be illegal for you to post such pictures. It makes me want to lick my computer screen.
Wonderful job as always!!

That purple yarn should be illegal. It's byoo-tee-full.
The Spring Forward's go pretty fast after you get the pattern down. I think you can finish, even with the sales going on!

The yarn is absolutely stunning. Congrats on it! Do you have any idea what you want to do with it?
