I have a confession to make. I am addicted to coffee creamer. There, I've said it. I know this sounds strange, but, let me explain. I drink my coffee black. No sugar, no creamer. I go along with my life and I have no problem with it.... until I have overnight guests. Usually these overnight guests prefer creamer in their coffee. The creamer is different, each time. It makes no difference to me. I'm addicted to ALL of them. I buy the creamer, and then try not to watch its use or ration it to the person who is using it. They usually have no idea of my stealth observation. Then.... oh glorious day... they leave..... and, there is creamer left! At this point I drink pots of coffee and totally go nuts until it is gone. It is sickening, really... What the heck is in it, anyway? Crack Cocaine?
Anyway, if you've been reading my blog you know that I had plenty of guests over Labor Day weekend. Guess what was left? Almost a full bottle of this....
Yes, there is actually coffee in that cup too, not that you would notice. It's almost gone now, but I was able to get a fix this morning. Plus, don't even get me started on Nyquil. Addiction at its finest.
Thanks so much to Ann and Megan for trying to help me with the Stripes Go Round dilemma. I was able to find out how to do the "jogless jog" on Jared's website, but it only works if you are doing color changes in sets of two rows. Two of my four colors only go around once. I tried it anyway, and I think I'm doomed at this point. I probably need to just frog this thing and let it go. I don't even want to unravel it again. The yarn has been knit twice at this point. Let me share my horror with you:
I'm not sure what I did on the bottom one, but part of the garter stitch bottom is up into the first row of stitches, the next one up is with the jog, and then the next two I tried to do the jogless jog (or my interpretation of it with only one color). Is it hopeless? Can I do some kind of duplicate stitch or decorative crochet stitch up the sides? Help!!! Suggestions welcomed! Help save Dani's Stripes Go Round!
In the meantime, I have some pants I need to hem.....
Oh, I see! I read the newer post first and had missed this one. Now this jog is really... hmmm. joggy! LOL
I don't know how to solve it other than doing duplicate stitch (or maybe steek and sewing?).
But I think you frogged this already, no?
As for the creamer, you can try the coffee mate light if you want, it's totally crappy and will cure you of your addition in a nanosecond. That's if you are watching your weight, I don't know if you are (I am. watching it. grow)

Muah ha ha... After reading this, one could only hope to have you as a swap partner!
I will email you the link later (he actually has the directions listed in a pattern). You can also check out TECHKnit, although hers is for ribbing, so I dunno. It's still giving me fits, even with this many websites on hand. I'm just gonna give up and move on. Mine look just like yours - only with holes. Gah!

There is some of that stuff in my fridge right now, but it's for the boy, not me. Regular vanilla soymilk please! And yeah, I like it light. ;)
As for the jog thing... Can you figure out a way to make the "seam" be under your arm when the sweater is done? If you can I doubt anyone else would notice....

I buy that stuff from Costco. It's definitely my crack.
I hope you figure out a way to solve your jog problem!

I am not sure if this applies to your situation or not, but here is a link to a jogless jog. http://techknitting.blogspot.com/2007/01/jogless-stripes.html. I hope that helps you.

Edible oil products are highly addictive...hey, there are a lot worse things to be addicted to...

Ouch. Yeah, I think duplicate stitch and hiding it under your arm are the way to go now. I don't suppose dropping the stitch back and picking it up as a normal color change join is an option.
Ah, Nyquil, sweet liquid of oblivion—I'll have to see if there is any in the house.
