I'm not sure when this happened, but there seems to be a heck of a lot of WIPs around here lately. I am not usually a WIP person. The reason for this is because I don't like to re-learn a pattern again. This is due to my apparent long and short-term memory loss. If I put a project down for one week (it doesn't take long), I have to re-read the pattern and figure it all out again, just like I'm doing it for the first time. On the other hand, if I do the same exact pattern for years and years...and years.. eventually I remember it and it doesn't take me as long to pick it up again. For example, the Catherine Wheel pattern I am using for the baby blankie...
Five minutes after I pick it up...... I am off to the races again. Not so for Yosemite:
I put this down right before Summer of Socks started. I just have to do the short sleeves and neck, but every time I see it in its basket I look the other way and quickly move in another direction... I have no idea how to do that pattern. I remember reading something about a placket and buttons. That doesn't sound like fun to me, does it to you? I know what you are thinking. Finish the dang thing. I hear ya, although it probably won't fit me anyway..... ;)
I'm still working on Stripes Go Round, even though I hate the jogs with a passion....
Will someone please take this thing away from me and put me out of my misery? (jogs in back, I'm not about to show them again).
Also, I'm still working on my "puce" Spring Forward socks, and the leftover sock yarn from Missy's Monkeys socks:
But I usually just work on these in the morning, or in the car. They will get done eventually. This is nothing new in the WIP department. I usually have a couple of pairs of socks going at once.
And, of course, there's the Green Gable Hoodie (I know the name of it now) which I totally love:
I'm ready to start the cables!!!
There's this:
Well, I don't know what this is... It's in a basket with a pattern magazine. Cute pattern too. I have no clue....
Okay, I think that's it for the WIPs. There may be an afghan started somewhere, but other than that I think we are good. SO - my question is, what should I finish first?
What do I think I should finish first? Well....this:
any guesses? :)
Oh, you showed the diagram—too EZ (hehe). I hear it works up fast. But you better get hopping on the baby blanket. Although I like the mystery blue and white yarn project.
As for the sheer number of WIPs, maybe I'm contagious?

I think you should finish that beautiful baby blanket first. Looks like you are getting close. Then you can worry about one of the others.

Too many WIPs?? Sounds like you've been hanging around me too much! Oh well, you'll never be bored!

I'm drowning in WIPs too. I just can't seem to stop spinning long enough to finish any of my knitting projects!

I have a few more than you, I don't let them worry me. They will eventually get finished (or frogged). I love to start new things, and will probably never change. Once or twice a year I pick a month and devote it entirely to finishing WIP's and that works pretty well for me

I get all crazy if I have too many WIPs. Not that crazy is an unusual state of mind for me. ;) Have fun with that BSJ. ;)
