Look what Opal sent me!!
Is that not the cutest stitch marker you've ever seen? It is a sock stitch marker, but fits well on my Size 5 circulars as well. I loves it!! Plus, when you get something from Opal's etsy shop, you also get these:
I'm not sure which one I like better, the Hello Kitty bag, or the chocolate kisses from Hawaii. I know which one Paul likes more, I think there is only one chocolate kiss left! Thanks Opal! You are the greatest!
I've started a baby blanket for my friend Nicole. She is having a baby boy this Fall. Also, Missy just found out she is expecting as well. What an exciting time! I have a little more time to get Missy's done. I also want to make them each a Baby Surprise Jacket, and have pretty much decided the EZ book to get is The Opinionated Knitter. The BSJ is also in Knitter's Workshop, but my Plurk friends think The Opinionated Knitter is a better buy. The blankets I am doing in crochet, using the Catherine Wheel pattern from my stitch dictionary. It is my favorite for baby blankets. Here's my start:
It is kind of strange picking up the crochet needle again, but I do love my Catherine Wheels!!
Okay - off to check on my soap....
It's taking a nap right now.....
ooo, soap!! What flavor??! Those were cool looking kisses!!

Hey, that kind of looks like a jogless jog to me....
If it is, I'll send you my project and you can finish it =)
Enjoy your kisses - they are yummy!

Love the stitch marker. It's neat to get a little something extra in your order. Enjoy making the baby gifts. I know they will be a big hit.
