Yesterday we had largemouth bass and hybrid striped bass delivered for our pond. All of the other fish were delivered in the spring, but the bass were too small, so we had to wait until now to get them. Of course, now the other fish are too big, but I digress....
I wasn't going to blog about this, but when I saw the "Fish Guy," I figured that even though this is a knitting blog, we should all appreciate some entertainment every now and again. So, I bring you "Fish Guy":
I actually was pretty embarrassed to ask if I could take pictures for my blog. He was game, though, and of course Paul knew exactly what I was doing..... What was I doing?
And...we're walking... we're walking.....
Dont' look at me like that! You know you wanted to see this picture.... Back to the pond we go, across the creek that was, thankfully, not too full.
I did wear my rubber boots anyway, and on Megan's request, here's a picture.
Oh! I'm sorry.... were you expecting a full size picture? Hee Hee Hee.....
Here we are at the pond, putting the fish in:
Look at this frog! Isn't it huge?
I must admit I was a little freaked out by it..... Some kind of phobia?
Then, we left the pond and new fish to get used to each other:
The sheep were not impressed...
We will now return to our regularly scheduled knitting blog..... or something like that.
The Fish Guy is certainly blog worthy...Love your new creatures. I'm sure the sheep will learn to love them!

Anyone who can make khaki shorts and hiking boots look good is ok by me!
Mmm bass, good eating? I like catfish. You should get some catfish, and talapia. I take it the fish can't escape via the creek?
But, hey, you actually have a Frog Pond to through misbehaving projects in. hehehe.

Dude. Can I just say how totally jealous I am of all that open space?!? And may I ask a stupid question: Why would you buy fish to put in the pond? Are you raising them for food or something? Obviously I have become a city kid inadvertently.... :(
