Yosemite is done!!!!
It seems forever since I started it. In the process, I learned how to make a shawl collar with a placket, and I even flaired out the sleeves a little bit and gave some more length to them. Let's face it, I don't need to show my upper arms to anyone!!! The buttons I had in my "button jar".
Like? All-in-all, a great sweater even with the negative ease. This works well for me since I am not WELL endowed on top (even though I seem to be well endowed in the MIDDLE - but I can usually take care of that with pants - he he). You may want to go a little less negative if you have more...
Here's a flashless picture to show the great stitch definition of this pattern. No cable needle needed! It's a right-twist stitch.
Now my only WIP (that I contemplate finishing....) is Swallowtail. After that (or before if I can't take it anymore) I am thinking of some colorwork. Care to join me? What shall we make? I'm thinking of a fair isle pullover with yoked design and no (or hardly any) seaming.
Okay - I must go put some new STUFF away..... UPS man came to see me!!
Beautiful! Looks like it should be very cozy. :)
I've got another yoked colorwork sweater hitting the needles myself. :)
Yay new yarn!

Gorgeous!!! I need to make that first sweater before I would even attempt color work. Good Luck on you new project when you decide which one.
New yarn/fiber is the best mail to get!

Beautiful sweater! I've been wanting to try colorwork, but I was thinking a hat. My first sweater is still on the needles, the back is almost finished. I wish I was speedier.

Nice Sweater.
I was debating if a placket thing like that would work on my Nell sweater, now that I've sewn it shut. Decisions, decisions.
